5 Ways - Hot Dogs

INGREDIENTS:

American:

  • Hot dog sausage
  • Hot dog bun
  • 1 tbsp of grated cheese mix
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 2 tbsp of shoestring potatoes
  • 1 tbsp of pickles
  • Ketchup

Mexican Hot Dog:

  • Hot dog sausage
  • Hotdog bun
  • ½ cup of guacamole
  • ⅓ cup of crushed nachos
  • 1 tbsp of sliced jalapenos

Brazilian Hotdog:

  • Hotdog sausage
  • Hot dog bun
  • 2 tbsp of cooked black beans, sauté
  • 2 tbsp of ripped green cabbage, sauté
  • ⅓ of a banana, sliced and fried

Vegan:

  • Hotdog bun
  • ½ block of smoked tofu
  • ⅓ cup of shredded purple cabbage
  • ⅓ cup of spinach leaves
  • 1 tbsp of diced red bell pepper
  • 1 tsbp of diced mango
  • ½ tbsp of diced red onion
  • 1 tsp of chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Italian hot dog:

  • Hotdog bun
  • Hot dog sausage
  • ½  mozzarella ball
  • 1 tbsp of basil
  • ½ tomato
  • 1 tbsp of grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp of Olive oil
  • ½ tbsp Balsamic vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1

American:

Slice the sausage without separating the two halves. Fill in the cheese and wrap the bacon tight around it and bake for 10 minutes at 375Fº. Place the sausage in the bun, add ketchup and mustard, pickles and top with the potatoes.

Step 2

Mexican:

Add the sausage to the bun, too with the guacamole, then the nachos and finalize with the jalapenos.

Step 3

Brazilian:

Add the sausage to the bun, top with the black beans, ripped cabbage and finish with the fried banana.

  

Step 4

Vegan:

Slice the tofu into sausage shape blocks. In a bowl, add the chopped bell pepper, onion, mango, olive oil, lime juice and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper and reserve. Add the spinach to the bun, place sausage like tofu on top and cover with the red cabbage. Finish with the mango picco de gallo.

 

Step 5

Italian:

In a bowl, season the tomato and mozzarella with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper and reserve. Add the sausage to the bun, place slices of tomato and mozzarella and finish with basil and grated parmesan.
